Concepts, methods and applied transition knowledge
The New Economy knowledge base brings together core concepts, methods and perspectives from the regenerative economy. Articles explain footprint, compliance, circular product design, regenerative strategy, food systems and regional policy in practical terms, with clear links to life-cycle assessment (LCA), social cost-benefit analysis (MKBA), CO2 footprint, carbon sequestration, biobased materials and circular business models.
CSRD corporate sustainability reporting directive
The CSRD is the European directive that requires large and listed companies to report on sustainability according to fixed standards, including climate, environment, social effects and governance.
The directive also covers chain impact and CO₂ footprint, making scope 3 and the GHG Protocol part of CSRD reporting.
Applied in practice
For CSRD-obligated organisations, New Economy maps the full CO₂ footprint (scope 1, 2 and 3) as a basis for reporting, as with Dura Vermeer, and provides the Compliance Baseline (CSRD) service.
