Many food initiatives operate with limited organisational capacity. Shared support can bundle tasks that are heavy for individual initiatives, such as administration, fundraising, accountability, coordination and practical support.
The exploratory SCBA uses about €0.083 million in annual costs and about €0.23 million in annual benefits. That gives a benefit-cost ratio of about 2.8, or about 4.7 per public euro.
