The modular cabinet system of Biobased Design works with load-bearing frames in two fixed heights, 160 and 200 cm, which can be freely combined in pairs. Those two sizes form the structural framework onto which shelves, boxes and covers are mounted.
The frames are made of Finnish FSC timber and produced in West-Friesland, with a long technical service life as the starting point. Because the heights are interchangeable, an arrangement can grow or shrink with the space and the needs of the user, without the existing frame having to be replaced.
