Gelderland agriculture has a calculated reduction potential of 0.298 to 2.549 Mton CO₂-eq by 2030. The range is wide because the result depends on adoption levels, measure combinations and the extent to which food, land use and livestock are addressed together.
This figure is therefore not a stand-alone projection, but a strategic bandwidth. At the lower end, the transition remains limited; at the upper end, regenerative agriculture, livestock transition, nutrient management, silvopasture, reduced food waste and diet change are implemented as a connected package. Governance and implementation choices determine where Gelderland lands within that range.
