Gelderland: 28% emissions reduction compared to 1990

The province of Gelderland has achieved roughly 28% emissions reduction compared to 1990, measured across the available registration years. This figure marks the starting point of the 2025 progress layer and sits alongside a target of 55% reduction for 2030.

The gap between the realised 28% and the 55% target path shows that well over half of the task toward 2030 remains open. Progress is unevenly distributed: energy and the built environment are moving, while mobility and agriculture lag behind. This reduction correlates with measures in the energy sector and the built environment, and indicates where the pace of implementation must rise to meet the target path.
