The total annual reduction potential for the province of Gelderland amounts to 12,619 kton CO₂-eq, spread across the modelled climate solutions toward 2030. This potential represents the ceiling of what the combined measures in energy, mobility, industry, the built environment and agriculture can deliver.
Set against the 28% reduction already achieved, this potential shows how much room remains to cut emissions. The largest contributions come from the energy sector, with rooftop solar (1,632 kton) and onshore wind (1,385 kton) as frontrunners.
