When the assessed solutions are implemented ambitiously, according to the 2025 map layer Gelderland reaches approximately 77% emission reduction relative to 1990. That lies well above the provincial target of 55% for 2030.
The fully ambitious scenario shows that the package of thirty solutions can, in theory, deliver more reduction than the target requires. The distance between the roughly 28% achieved so far and this 77% nonetheless reveals the scale of the implementation task: the gap must be bridged within a few years through acceleration in domains that currently lag, including mobility and agriculture.
