Strategic Regional Roll-Out of the CIRCO Circular Business and Design Method

CIRCO: circular entrepreneurship, rolled out regionally

CIRCO is a business and design method for circular entrepreneurship, developed for RVO. New Economy is the implementer: provinces and companies are activated and regional CIRCO hubs are set up in which network partners apply the method independently, train companies and provide follow-up. Many companies want to work on circularity but do not know how — CIRCO makes it concrete and helps redesign products, services and business models.

What is CIRCO?

CIRCO is a business and design method for circular entrepreneurship. Through tracks and training, CIRCO helps companies and their chain partners redesign products, services and business models with an eye to reuse and value retention. New Economy is the implementer of CIRCO and responsible for activation at regional governments, in combination with the transition agendas.

Regional CIRCO hubs

New Economy is responsible for decentralising the operational side of CIRCO and set up the first regional CIRCO hubs. A hub is a form of collaboration in which regional network partners apply the method autonomously, train companies and provide follow-up.

Innovation and knowledge sharing

New Economy’s advisers contribute to CIRCO’s innovation projects. For example, they developed an e-demo of the method and a webinar on the opportunities of circular business models.
