The provincial reduction task for Gelderland comes down to 7,500 kton CO₂-eq in 2030, equal to 55% lower emissions relative to 1990. That percentage translates the national and European target path into a concrete provincial task.
The task serves as the benchmark against which the 30 solutions are set: for each scenario, the interactive map shows whether the sum of selected measures reaches the 7,500 kton. Because the target is fixed in absolute kton and as a percentage, it stays testable as new figures on actual emissions become available.
