Product sharing has relatively limited potential

Product sharing has relatively limited potential when equipment is closely tied to a production process, planning, uptime and operator routines. Even if shared use is technically possible, the operational risks can outweigh the circular benefit.

For CNC systems and similar manufacturing assets, the stronger circular route is often not sharing the whole machine, but extending lifetime, replacing components, improving maintenance and retaining performance over time. That keeps the product useful while preserving the value already embedded in the system.
