Kraak de Crisis directed its search for promising initiatives along three trends: CO₂ reduction, caring for one another, and a circular economy. It sought projects that increase employment after corona and respond to at least one of these three movements.
The first trend aimed to hold on to the fall in atmospheric CO₂ going forward. The second worked towards a more social Netherlands in which people look out for one another more. The third focused on high-quality reuse of materials, less waste and less dependence on supply from other countries. Together they formed the frame within which initiatives were assessed.
