As its ecological starting point, the platform pursues restoration through raw materials that are 100% biobased and biodegradable. The materials come from renewable sources that restore soil, water, biodiversity and local communities rather than deplete them.
The fully biobased character rules out conflict and critical materials, as well as raw materials better used for food or medical applications. Combined with demountable connections and a long service life, attention shifts from footprint to retaining value, with materials able to return to the cycle at the end of their use.
