585,600 kg of food distributed

Distribution points distribute about 585,600 kg of rescued food each year, largely through the logistics hub Voedselcirkel. The hub collects and allocates food flows, after which local initiatives make the food available to households.

For the exploratory SCBA, this figure describes a network volume. The same kilogram should not be counted twice at both the logistics hub and a distribution point. The insight therefore shows both the scale of the food flow and the interdependence between the hub and local distribution initiatives.
