A low-traffic neighbourhood returns seventeen times the investment

Of all linked tasks, the low-traffic neighbourhood has the highest benefit-cost ratio: around €320,000 in societal value against €19,000 in costs per model neighbourhood — more than sixteen times the outlay. Every parked car occupies some 20 m²; if 20% of cars move to the edge or another mode, three quarters of that space becomes available for play, meeting and greenery, valued at €150 per m².
