Meaningful Matters: What is Sustainability?

Context

What is the session about?

The session by Pepijn Duijvestein takes participants into a collective future perspective. The central question is how a societal antenna helps to make the right choices in one’s own context, and how food, drink, housing and mobility can be arranged without shadow sides. The starting point is that everything that is done has a positive impact, even from within a consumer society.

New Economy connects this question with regenerative strategy: from reducing harm to adding value for people, materials and ecosystems. Language, imagination and practical interventions play a role in this.
