In reference year 2022, Ride-Check’s total emissions were 3,645 tonnes of CO₂-eq. Of this total, 3,477,690 kg CO₂-eq fell within scope 3. The largest climate impact of shared mobility therefore arose in the value chain, mainly through the purchase of mopeds, kickscooters and parts and through the transport of goods.
Because fleet expansion can cause scope 3 emissions to fluctuate strongly, the baseline also uses an intensity KPI per passenger-kilometre. This keeps reduction measurable while the fleet grows. Source: Ride-Check CO₂-eq reduction management, New Economy, reference year 2022.
