Introduction New Economy BV.

What do you do when your company has undergone such strong development that market demands demand a different approach, attitude, and image than the business network you're part of?

Over the past four years, Pepijn Duijvestein and Marieke van der Werf have laid the foundation for a consultancy, program, and implementation agency specializing in the circular economy, energy transition, and sustainable business models. Dr2 New Economy has grown from a solid position within the Dröge & van Drimmelen business network into a company that develops products and services that contribute to climate solutions. The company has a strong position in the new economy with expertise in business strategies, value creation, CO2 pricing models, and the implementation of sustainable solutions for products and services. 

Pioneering in the new economy
The new economy demands a pioneering mindset and room for experimentation, and both organizations feel the time is ripe for Dr2 New Economy to stand on its own two feet. This step has created the space to pioneer independently, engage in all possible partnerships, and further develop independently as an organization. Founder and co-director Marieke van der Werf will remain as director of Dröge & van Drimmelen and as a partner in the holding company.

Pepijn Duijvestein becomes the owner of New Economy BV through a management buyout for 100%. The four employees Lilian Hove, Boi de Moel, Iris Grobben and Jonah Link are joining the adventure.

New opportunities
The "New Economy BV" spinout clearly distinguishes between services provided for (start-up) companies and government agencies. The focus will be on product and program development for the new economy.

The privatization also provides the opportunity to develop new partnerships and further develop, among other things, the homepage-New Economy, Future-proof construction, the circular business models program for the manufacturing industry, and the various public calculation models, including the acclaimed circular chain model.  

All current projects where the combined expertise of Dröge & van Drimmelen and New Economy BV is being utilized will remain unchanged. This is a continuation of the successful collaboration in accelerating the transition to a new economy!
