This project combines two of our shared passions: analysis and cooking. Every day, we analyze the impact of materials, products, and regions, and provide insight into how value can be created for the economy and the environment. By clarifying the climate impact of each choice, we can develop products, services, or initiatives that are part of the climate solution. Driven by personal interest, Jonah Link and Iris Grobben delved into the choices you make every day when you're in the supermarket or kitchen, and the impact of these choices. The goal: to better understand how to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges.
So, what exactly is it all about? Eating a healthy and diverse diet without negative impact is possible, but what are the key considerations? Every day, you're informed about what producers consider "the best choice," and various quality labels assure you of a sustainable diet. But sometimes, we can't see the forest for the trees. Our goal: to gain insight into what truly constitutes healthy and sustainable food.
This resulted in PlanEET, a practical, simple, and above all, delicious overview of recipes for every day. Here, we share delicious and healthy recipes and calculate their impact on climate, water and land use, and health, among other things, so you know where you stand with every choice.
