Partner Drawdown
Many (local) governments have mapped out a regional energy transition (RES). Simultaneously, they have a climate target of reducing CO2 eq. between 45% and 55%. Drawdown Europe, in collaboration with New Economy, supports governments in translating their sectoral (stack) objectives into this climate target.
Drawdown, with over 100 researchers, spent 10,000+ hours scientifically substantiating how we can stop the climate problem on a global scale. 100+ solutions have demonstrated that we can reach the point in time where greenhouse gases are absorbed by our natural systems by 2050.
New Economy is partnering with regional governments to map the potential for greenhouse gas reduction and sequestration. New Economy also supports Drawdown Europe in developing and implementing its Dutch strategy.
