Sustainable startup Fairm is working on future-proof construction with innovative biobased insulation solutions. Parallel to setting up a pilot for large-scale production, Fairm is obtaining funding through the baseline measurement insight into the performance of the material and products based on the Environmental Cost Indicators.
New Economy analyzes the environmental impact of the production process and identifies the hot spots. The startup uses the insights from this baseline measurement to make strategic choices during the scale-up phase. This allows the company to grow with a healthy business model and optimize the positive impact of the product!
Baseline
With the baseline measurement for Fairm, we jointly investigated where Fairm can achieve the greatest climate impact. From purchased materials to staff lunches, we calculated where the greatest gains can be achieved. The baseline measurement revealed several interesting aspects, such as the use of materials and the energy consumed in the process. These are currently being addressed intensively.
