The province of Flevoland has asked New Economy to help formulate a strategy to strengthen the transition to a circular economy in the region. New Economy has established the Flevoland Circulair platform, which connects entrepreneurs and enables them to share experiences and lessons learned regarding the transition to a circular economy.
Based on the developed strategy and its activities in the region, New Economy was involved in establishing seven circular value chains in the fields of natural fibers, rotor blades, and roofing. These chains have now all reached a value chain agreement outlining their efforts and circular plans.
